My works are based on my fascination on rituals and folklore. For centuries people in different cultures have been trying to become part of a greater whole by participating in various folklore ceremonies , religious prayers and individual meditative practices. Making art is such a practice for me and the art work is a memorial or sometimes a mediator of the practice.
