I research environments by performing both as participant and observant. Walking, listening, recording and writing are methods through which I capture and archive. Inspired by ant colonies and architectural structures I aim to compose alternatives for established systems. Examples in which I redefine and convene such matters are, listening walks, performative scores, audio compositions and live generated sound. Research and elaboration carry a micro- macro level complexion. Sound for me, has the ability to arouse concentration and unify people. By organizing moments of interruption, putting things in a new order and inviting the viewer in the work, I questions our involvement in space and the responsibility that this entails.

"Who is the owner of the work?"

A walking archive - Two performative scores on two A3 notepads. Visitors of the exhibition could tear off a paper and take the scores home. At the exit, two hosts told the visitors to ‘also take home the responsibility of the exhibition and the scores’. These scores are part of an expanding archive of documented walks and field recordings that question our involvement in space and the responsibilty that this entails.
