Rossella Nisio

Rossella Nisio is a visual artist whose work has a focus on notions of memory, imagination and space. She has a background in the theory of cinema and performing arts at the University of Roma Tre (DAMS); she completed studies in photography at Ar.Co in Lisbon and earned an MA in Fine Art and Design at the Piet Zwart Institute in Rotterdam. She was a recipient of the Emerging Talent Stipendium by the Mondriaan Fund and is a resident artist at the Rijksakademie in Amsterdam in 2021-23. Her moving image works are included in the collections of the EYE Film Institute in Amsterdam and the CFMDC in Toronto.
