In September 2026, Kapish will host, at Time is the new space, a month long program exploring the blurry boundaries between sex work, gendered labor, care, and artistic practice. This program aims to be political, sassy, joyful, and emancipatory, welcoming complexity, contradiction, humor, tenderness, rage, camp, and pleasure.

The intent comes from long term artistic and political research around sex work as labor, intimacy as work, and the ways certain bodies are historically expected to care, please, perform, serve, or endure. We approach sex work with a broad lens, including its overlaps with domestic work, emotional labor, service work, and artistic labor.
We are looking for artists whose practices move within these porous zones. Artists who represent sex work, care, or gendered labor. Artists who work from lived experience. Artists who question value, visibility, intimacy, desire, autonomy, and joy. Interpretation of the theme is intentionally open.

All formats are welcome. The project is structured around an exhibition, one or more performance nights, a workshop day, and a film screening.

Location: Time is the new space, Rotterdam
