About Janneke:
Janneke (she/her) works a.o. as an experimental vocalist skilled in acoustic techniques and in situ listening. Her artistic work and approach to collective singing relates to how the body, astronomy, geography and spatial positioning can be aligned through a sonic experience. Manifesting a social approach to sound and space, the acoustic and naturally amplified voice connects with the architecture and landscape. In this practise, listening and sound forms a basis for a better world, to be enticed and engaged in finding your own way and attitude towards life.
