30.90852; performance - 30.90852 is a spatial design research project reflecting on the atmospheric condition of the interior. The dust-machine fills an enclosed space with dust poured in by the visitors, shifting its physical atmosphere. Through the playful act of throwing a "dirty" material in an air blower, the visitors produce a change in the air they breathe inside the installation. Feeling the dust floating in the air and the possibility of inhaling it stimulate a reflection on a basic and automatic thing we do, breathing. I argue that it is important for a greater ecological awareness.

Wind is alive - Wind is alive is a speculative design project originating from a site-research on Maasvlakte, the recently completed extension of Rotterdam’s port. Criticizing this excessively controlled landscape, where even the wind is a programmed and exploited entity, I designed wind-machines imagining them like strange creatures inhabiting a reimagined Maasvlakte ecosystem. Each of the machines roams in a fantasy-like habitat inspired by the site. The habitats are actually tiles casted in different experimental materials discovered and catalogued in the material archive.
Almonde’s - Almonde’s is a spatial design proposal I made, on behalf of Pension Almonde, for a community center. Almonde's is an inflatable space owned by the community which acts as a center of operations. There, current initiatives may be organised and new ones may be invented. People of the community may gather there and, along with anyone willing to participate, decide on what activities to do together. Almonde’s is a space where the community is made.
