My work focuses on intimacy and the complexity of the human condition. The work itself explores the question around the ethics of truth telling as a writing and performing methodology. I am interested in pleasure and in how we can navigate desire and consent, how the exploration of desire can become a radical proposal in a conflicting, overstimulating, and normative world. I hold space for desire and grief and for the nuances of truth: opposing, incomplete, elusive, confusing, overlapping, unbearable, weird, repetitive, chaotic, painful, exciting, blurry, elliptical, exposing, sensational, and ultimately vulnerable.
My work is obsessively text based. I approach the text as a transformative, transcendental experience through writing, reading, recording, jamming, drawing, and through multimedia performance work.
