Bobbi is an organizer first and an artist second. Her lived experiences and involvement in urban environmental and social movements in the Netherlands fuel an ever-growing need to make for and with the city: to reclaim space and to seek out stories, hopes and dreams that don’t naturally surface; that need untangling, probing and beckoning. This happens in her personal art practice, in her institutional research, and in volunteering and organizing throughout the city. She focuses on making (political) publications, activist tools and public art based on (participatory) research. In these projects she puts emphasis on radical imaginations. She strongly believes that even minor change can only become real if we are all outrageously imagining ahead.

(blue)ambient is a FLINTA tattoo collective based in Rotterdam comprised of tattoo artists who engage in trauma-informed tattooing and have a deep love for ambient music. Responsibilities and opportunities are shared. We co-host a tattoo studio in the crevices of the city, and we also, from time to time, host events that combine performance, ambient/noise music and tattooing.

Monthly cooking classes for kids aged 4-10 in Rotterdam-West. We cook in nature, with seasons and with a lot of roaming and playing.
GRIT
In my project GRIT I explore a future where society's obsession with beauty and a lack of worry over privacy intersect and run rampant. I forecast what emerges from it.
In an effort to both reject smoothness, privacy and autonomy issues, that surface from ongoing social media hegemonies, I co-created a dissent strategy with my stretchmarks. We are made up of parts, strange parts. Parts we can embrace to reject what has deemed them strange in the first place.
