In my practice I see myself as a curational collector, creating narratives through transformation of the futile and the forgotten. I gather personal belongings, memories, and found objects, imbuing even 'worthless' items and remnants of fabric with a deeper significance. I perceive these objects as bearers of identity, using the absence of their original context to integrate them into new forms of existence.
My work is an invitation to revise how material culture shapes us and connects us to each other. In an era that is dominated by digital experiences, I find myself seeking solace in the material world. My collection of objects and material studies acts as a reflection of our society and encourages conversation on what we keep, forget and deem valuable.
