I am cultural maker and multidisciplinary artist coming from Earth. My work begins where language stops behaving. Then it sometimes becomes a poem, a thread, an illustration, a code excerpt, or whichever form it suits. I move between the blurry lines of writing, visual arts, performance, and activism.
I treat poetry as both material and method. Intersection of knots and poetry is one of these. Knots function both materially and metaphorically as connections or conflicts, depending on one’s perspective. These shifting readings of material and experience are at the center of my research in pushing boundaries of meaning. Through this project, I research methodologies to design with and for children. How can interactivity, open-source tools, and participatory design expand the notion of authorship and accessibility?

Storytelling Basecamp
A storytelling for solidarity basecamp for writers and performers with immigration background. As a group of writers and makers, we worked towards discovering our questions and experiences about life and ourselves into a storytelling performance. Through a series of workshops we prepared a show to share our experiences and work with an audience through storytelling. I was selected as a stroyteller for the program and will be performing in November at BAK, Utrecht.
