My name is Masha and I am a Rotterdam based illustrator, tattoo artist and a visual storyteller.

I like to make sense of the world through illustration, making stories about how absurd and awkward life is. It fascinates me how many ways there are to tell a story, therefore I like to keep an open mind and try myself in different mediums and practices.

I recently got a studio space in Rotterdam and at the moment I am busy getting it ready for visitors. Soon it will be open for tattoo appointments and cosy visits!

Shape of Uncertainty, 2022 - I created a short comic as a submission for the new issue of FUKT magazine. The theme was uncertainty and the unknown. I decided to imagine how the uncertainty might look and how it feels.

Have you Heard of Koku Island? - 'Have you heard of the Koku Island' is a book about three friends who leave on a faraway island and are happy to welcome visitors, it tells a mysterious yet naive story about the importance of dreaming and staying curious. The book currently has nine chapters and it keeps getting bigger :)
