Together with Oud House Rotterdam, between the 6th and 29th of June, we invite you to ALWAYS CONTAINER, SOMETIMES CONTAINED as part of Architecture Month Rotterdam 2025. Inspired by Gaston Bachelard's seminal work The Poetics of Space (1958), the exhibition examines the house not only as an architectural structure, but as a space that holds and transforms our understanding of the world.

From May 24, the new exhibition 'The Future Classics' can be seen at The Frozen Fountain in Amsterdam. The Future Classics will be dominated by emerging talent and established designers presenting their latest designs and art.

From April 7 to 13, during Milan Design Week 2025, Deoron will present its first-ever physical exhibition, Deoron Elevating Objects, at Via Paolo Frisi 3 in Porta Venezia. Known for its online shop directory, curated magazine, and global influence, Deoron now steps beyond the screen to create an immersive experience rooted in the same sensibility that built its following.

An intentional and creative act that goes beyond biological ties to forge meaningful relationships between humans, non-humans, and more-than-humans. This exploration seeks to rethink relationships through an ecological and intersectional lens, fostering new forms of coexistence and collaboration—where interdependence and alliance replace division and exclusion.

There was a time, before the onset of industrialisation, when ornamentation defined the beauty of crafted objects, weaving artistry into the everyday—from grand architectural structures to the most personal belongings. Craftspeople shaped intricate patterns and rich textures, lending a sensory depth to the world around them. Yet, with the rise of industry, ornamentation grew subdued; things became uniform, and the unexpected nuances of ornament were gradually lost.

With well-known Eindhoven designers such as Kiki & Joost, VANTOT Studio and Envisions, The Galleries is a high-quality showcase of design and synergy in the shops and shop windows of Emma District.

The exhibition at Albert van Abbehuis, titled In Search of..., draws inspiration from the proustian exploration of memory and examines the countless fragments of our unremembered experiences. Centred on everyday objects, the artists and designers are invited to create new pieces while experimenting.

To celebrate this milestone during Dutch Design Week, design studio Dutch Invertuals challenged its network to re-design a chair that was recently created. This project will showcase each designer's expertise through the chair, with the object serving as a canvas for each personality.

'Dream Cakes' is a fusion of different practices and media related to the craft of pastry. Everything is involved, from the design of the cakes to the utensils and the furniture for sitting and eating. Materials and techniques evoke a universe of smoothness and softness, creating an atmosphere of emotional release.

As a designer, exhibiting your work at a major design event requires a big financial investment, and relies heavily on your network. For the majority of starting designers, no matter how talented, this makes exhibiting at a design festival out of reach. 1m2 Collective has set out to visualise this problem and provide a solution by fitting as many designers as possible into just 1m2 of ground space.
