artistiek onderzoek - mens - objecten - omgeving - sociaal-maatschappelijk

My artistic practice revolves around the concept of how places and objects influence our experiences and interactions with the world. I begin my projects by immersing myself in specific locations, from bustling streets and neighborhoods to wastelands, to explore how people experience and interact with them in their daily lives. My work aims to capture the way locations impact our lives, bringing to light the often-invisible thoughts and experiences of different individuals.
To gain a deeper understanding of the relationships between people and their physical surroundings, I engage with diverse individuals and collect their experiences and perspectives. I explore the locations from multiple angles, ranging from symbolic and subjective to factual and visual. By reflecting this research in my work, I invite viewers to consider their own relationships with the places they inhabit.
