The murals and installatons of Petra van Noort consist of bold colors and different materials. The subject matter of her work is a mixture of current social themes, daily news and the constant flow of imagery uploaded to the internet. In recent years she started working on drawings on paper which are inspired by Japanese wood block prints. In both disciplines she combines a wide range of media and handmade designs, this gives them a collage like quality.
