Monuments Unseen
The work Monuments Unseen is an exploration of space—physical, political, and historical. At Sluts & Squats the artist was drawn to the presence of fabrics in the screening and during the red-carpet moments. Anarchiving, the artist used textiles, referring to the material of collective resistance in the form of banners and balaclavas. She collected visual material sampling and remixing imagery found in the Rotterdam City Archive, the Poortgebouw archive and her personal archive.
