In mijn tekeningen ben ik opzoek naar het Onverwachte binnen zowel materiaalgebruik als thematiek.
Beeldend kunstenaar Roebie Starink is in 2005 afgestudeerd aan de Willem de Kooning academie in Rotterdam. Ze werkt in haar kunst met dingen die zij tegenkomt in haar leven en begint vaak met tekenen van iets dat haar aandacht trekt, maar vervolgens transformeert zij dit door elementen toe te voegen of te veranderen. De natuur komt vaak terug in haar werk. Maar ook is Roebie opzoek naar mensen, dieren of dingen in ongewone situaties of zich niet in de verwachte omgeving of hoedanigheid begeven. Niets is wat het lijkt, er zit vaak iets anders achter. Roebie houdt van tekenen en van experimenten met verschillende materialen.
GRAW 2025
Tijdens GRAW (Groot Rotterdams Atelier Weekend) stel ik mijn atelier open samen met mijn ateliergenoten.
Expositie kunst en Vorm Dordrecht.
Tijdens deze expositie zijn tekeningen te zien die met gebruik van kleurpotlood op papier zijn gemaakt. Een spel van vormen kleuren lijnen en schaduwwerking.

From July 1, 2020 to August 15, 2020, Roebie Starink will show brand new work at Bergse Dorpstraat 28A. In a number of works her experiences will be seen from the COVID-19 period when much of the world was in lockdown.
