Sevgi is a maker and designer rooted in Rotterdam and Adana. In her works she tries to think about death as a mode of value, inheritances, obsoletion of digital media/um/s, and translators power of strange kinships that stem in workshop settings. She is also a regular workshop host at Buitenplaats Brienenoord as a part of Fiber Space collective.

RESURRECTION is a two part workshop series where participants are asked to list what they consider dead in technologic/digital realms. Together we think about what we consider dead, dying or obsolete. After a discussion we break into groups of two and prepare eulogies/ceremonies for those we lost. At the end of the workshop everyone performs their eulogy and we discuss what we would like to being back from this old dear friend of ours, what did we lose and do we want it back?
