Urte Baranauskaite

Licht, Lichaam, Grafiek, fotografie, Educatie, Abstract

Education, photography, and graphic art/ graphic design are my main creative fields, which I work in interchangeably. I enjoy finding new and interesting ways to share my knowledge in art and creativity through engaging workshops, including bookbinding, linocut, analog photography, cyanotype, and many more! I love shooting and developing film, exploring the urban landscapes of Rotterdam and catching silent mystical moments.

Personal Exhibition “Interaction“ - In 2017 Urte Baranauskaite exhibited her work titled "Interakcija" at the Marija and Jurgis Slapeliai House-Museum in Vilnius, Lithuania. The show featured a canvas interacting with light, creating a mesmerizing optical illusion. Complementing this were photographs that illustrate Baranauskaite's creative journey, exploring themes of light and body. The exhibition emphasizes the interplay between light and form, inviting viewers to engage with the artwork on multiple levels.
