schilderen , Abstract

My abstract textured paintings have a natural feel. They arise from feelings of wonder and my connection with deeper truth and dimensions of life.
Influenced by a greater reality — by nature, including our human nature, unseen energies and worldly experiences, life often feels like a delicate balancing act. A dance between the visible and the invisible, between movement and stillness, between duality and oneness. It's this dynamic play that lies at the heart of my work.

In my paintings, I merge the natural with the ethereal, softening rawness with serenity. I love to blend the rugged and weathered with the bright and pure, creating visual contrasts in a mindful balance. Intuïtion, discovery and experimentation are crucial in my artistic process.
