Inspired by nature’s creations, she intends to highlight (parts of) beautiful natural sights.
It's about making a small intervention in nature, without harming nature (neither ecological nor visual).

Judith Jansen - Works for Pakje Kunst (initiative of Ro-Nalt Schrauwen; works of art are the size of a pack of cigarettes, to be retrieved from cigarette vending machines)
Landslide, mixed organic materials, 2017 - This installation consists of individual trees with horizontal strips of moss applied around their trunks. When applied to multiple trees in the forest, it creates a 'natural manipulation' of the scene. This work is about how new perspectives can make you feel like the ground in shifting below your feet. The idea came when travelling in Colombia, in the city of Barranquilla. All the trees of this city had the Colombian flag painted around their trunks. This was initiated by the local major on the occasion of a national holiday, in order to create a feeling of belonging amongst the inhabitants of Barranquilla. How do you feel like you belong somewhere? How do you feel connected? Travelling gives you new perspectives and can cause some serious rethinking.

Cursussen/workshops/open atelier begeleiding specifieke doelgroepen.
Mensen op hun kracht kant te zetten d.m.v (beeldende) creativiteit. Hun interesse voor beelden en verbeelden op te wekken, hun eigen esthetische waarden en beeldtaal te ontdekken d.mv. opdrachtjes te geven en materialen en technieken aan te reiken.
Ik ontwikkel het lesmateriaal zelf o.b.v. onderzoek naar de grens tussen kunst als middel en kunst als doel. Per groep wordt dit aangepast naar de mogelijkheden die er zijn.
