Rondo’s is a series of textile sculptures born from a personal experience of loss and physical tension. The artworks are an exploration of form, fixation, and meaning. The result is a series of circular forms where emotion, the body, and spirituality. Rondo’s is a visual translation of the inner dialogue between the physical and the unseen. A search for balance, space, and connection. The work is crafted from mercerized cotton, gaining its structural strength through a process of weaving, controlled fixation, and drying. A total of 375 meters of yarn has been used. The final form measures 14 centimeters in diameter and 5 centimeters in height, resulting in a compact and stable textile object with high material density and dimensional stability.

Deze onderscheidende expositie focust zich niet op schilderijen van verf en doek maar op werken van textiel, draad en kunststoffen. Technieken uit de textielkunst en handwerk komen samen onder de naam Fiber Art. Het werkproces, ritme, vorm en de flexibele vezels staan centraal in deze expositie. Negen kunstenaars tonen de kracht van het materiaal waar ze mee werken. Textielkunst en Fiber Art op zijn modernst.
