As an artist, I consume the surrounding reality in its entirety, even those layers of experience and perception that remain beyond my conscious awareness. This reality is digested within me, transformed, and ultimately emerges as artistic creation. In this sense, creative crises or the absence of inspiration are simply impossible for me.
Yet, because the results are born without compromise to the tastes of the majority, they rarely achieve commercial success, and survival often becomes a challenge. I didn't choose to be an artist, I just have the constant urge/need of creating.
I cannot stop creating sculptural works in every material I can find, from ice and sand to plastics and bronze and I am always searching for a naked truth, the answer to the essential questions.
