Xenia Gott is a multidisciplinary artist based in The Netherlands. Her unique approach to art is characterized by raw authenticity, utilizing a diverse range of mixed media, including (digital) collage, painting, illustration, and video art. Central to Xenia’s artwork lies the exploration and capture of random (online) impressions and the transformation of these fleeting moments into her own collage world of figurative sketches
Recurring themes in Xenia's artwork include society, social order, and mental disorder. Her compositions frequently feature figures that embody struggle — anti-heroes and underdogs living on society's edge. These fringe characters look different, behave differently challenging our perspectives balancing between the 'accepted' and the ‘unaccepted’. Her art is a powerful reminder of the unseen battles faced by many and the fantastic growth that can arise from ‘madness’.

Gottenkieny advocates and leverages her creative talents by making illustrations and collages for this public movement on different media to shine a spotlight on the pressing issues of relentless housing demolition, aiming to foster dialogue and draw attention to the human impact of urban development. She depicts the lives and stories of those affected by demolition and construction and strives to evoke empathy and understanding, bridging the gap between abstract policy and personal experience.

During recordings of her 2nd album, Xenia will conduct research into multidisciplinary collaboration via online platforms such as Ohm and Upstage. Objective: to examine optimal online collaboration during the corona pandemic. What are useful tools? What do online platforms have to offer? Pop-up platform Bieute
International pop-up meeting place where creatives and local residents playfully and creatively investigate how major environmental problems affect the ‘small’ rural / urban life and what the possible scenarios of impact and reaction are. First edition took place at the ‘Residency for the End of Time’ in Coulanges (France) in August 2019.
Plus-X-Creative
Plus-X-Creative is a non profit organization founded by Gottenkieny and other artists to support and uplift ('non'-)creative individuals by providing them with a platform to showcase their work, learn from one another, and collaborate on innovative projects. By doing so, the organization hopes to nurture a thriving creative ecosystem that celebrates diversity, promotes collaboration, and encourages artistic growth.
Fake Photobooth
Fake Photobooth is a greenscreen project where Gottenkieny photographs visitors in front of this screen, and through the magic of photo editing, transports them to a 'dreamworld' of their choice. This interactive experience invites visitors to step into a world of creativity, where they become both the subject and the creator. By participating, visitors and guest artists from different disciplines become an integral part of a collaborative artistic process that transcends traditional boundaries.
