Routing through the city networks of Athens. Wired with the Mediterranean social discourses, and experiencing the opposite natures of urban and rural life, I developed an artistic practice of antonyms. That, fostered a deep appreciation for intersectionality and critical perspectives.
I see life and art as inseparable. Living through the economic crisis of Greece as a teenager and moving to the Netherlands as a young adult uncovered and healed a lot of trauma for me. At the same time it shaped my practice and broadened my horizons. Shattered stereotypes and limiting beliefs, but also created distances.
The importance of accessibility, the feeling of nostalgia and the habit of introspection became the foundations of artworks that either stayed as drafts or manifested as entities.
Through reflecting on a moment that was experienced and passed. One that was created out of a network of past actions/ decisions and stirred all energies of thought, action and physical presence into a what we like to call an outcome.
I come to understand these experiences are registered in my perception and therefore, the way I narrate all these complicated networks of thoughts, perception, emotions, Physical and Non-physical spaces as conceptual art projects, becomes my artistic practice.
One where post human and poetic thinking seek to be expressed through. Whilst semiotics and narration work as a tool to materialise theory, thoughts and observations into what can eventually be perceived as a work in the spectrum of material arts

Welcome to Zoetropic Sympoiesis, An exploration of the spaces we navigate daily, from the plethoric mass production stores to the intricate fabric of our urban environment. These spaces, meticulously designed to fit predetermined moulds, often leave little room for personalisation, interventions, or alterations. They are a canvas painted by researched habits and curated for efficiency, stripping away the unique identities of the creatures that inhabit them.
