The Great Behold book will be presented on December 2, 2023. This 1280-page publication shows the first 22 years of the 'smallest gallery in Rotterdam'. Since July 2001, a new work has been unveiled every Thursday evening in the display case hanging at café De Schouw in Witte de Withstraat. Unfortunately, the gallery had to move this summer due to the closure of the café.

Artist Daan den Houter and art journalist Edo Dijksterhuis did not want the first 22 years of De Aanschouw to be lost and have created a book with all the works on display, supplemented with anecdotes and quotes from exhibitors.

The book was partly created through crowdfunding and a contribution from CBK Rotterdam.
