Nieuws | Boek over de kleinste galerie van Rotterdam in de maak

With an area of less than one square meter, De Aanschouw is the smallest gallery in Rotterdam. Since July 2001, a new work has been unveiled every Thursday evening in the display case hanging at café De Schouw in Witte de Withstraat. But unfortunately the gallery had to move this summer due to the closure of the café.

Artist Daan den Houter and art journalist Edo Dijksterhuis did not want the first 22 years of De Aanschouw to simply be lost and were working on a book with all the works on display, supplemented with anecdotes and quotes from exhibitors.

Den Houter and Dijksterhuis were responsible for making the printing of the book possible a crowdfunding campaign started via Voordekunst.nl. Here you can support the project in exchange for a copy – or more – of The Great View book.
