Right to Rest was an artistic demonstration in front of the central station in Rotterdam, where homeless people could spend the night in a temporary tent camp. The artistic manifestation was organized on October 5, 2023 by the Pauluskerk Rotterdam, together with artists Sachia Pereira Stolle and Marcha van den Hurk, among others.

The manifestation drew attention to the increasing number of people who have to spend the night on the streets. During the event, artists painted the tents, there was singing, music and poetry and visitors brought food and drinks. It is estimated that there were more than two thousand visitors.

More than forty homeless people spent the night in a tent or on a camp bed. The next morning we had breakfast together and had morning exercises. The AD, RTV Rijnmond en OpenRotterdam reported on Right to Rest.
