Specially for ECOSYSTEM, an exhibition in the Maastunnel, Sharon Jane D and Tarona photographed twelve Rotterdam artists in their workshops and the elements that make up their ecosystem: places, people and moments that are meaningful to them.

Participating artists include Serena Angelista, Sharon Jane D, Bouba Dola, Sandim Mendes, Yuro Moniz, Pris Roos, Meryem Slimani, Ameneh Solati, Tarona, Elly Vineyard, Tim Wes and Marga Weimans.

Interviews
ECOSYSTEM was developed and styled by DAR, a new cultural agency and platform founded by Zineb Seghrouchni. DAR represents artistic talent and offers a home for creative development. Seghrouchni interviewed the twelve participants about their ecosystem. These conversations will be shared on the Instagram channel @theartistecosystem.

The exhibition is on display until February 28, 2023.

ECOSYSTEM is partly realized thanks to a contribution from the scheme artistic activities in the city. With this contribution, CBK Rotterdam wants to use visual art to make the city more attractive and to give Rotterdam visual artists a role in this, thereby increasing their visibility.
