Mijn werk bestaat uit het maken van conceptuele foto's. Onderwerp/thema's benader ik vanuit de inhoud om zo alle gelaagdheden te doorgronden van doorgaans complexe thema's. 'Een onwerkelijkheid die werkelijkheid' wordt fascineert mij. Mijn foto's stel ik samen d.m.v. zelfgemaakte foto's van objecten, en soms een tekening, waarna ik al deze onderdelen digitaal hun plek geef en de afbeelding met fotosoftware bewerk. Ik werk het liefst vanuit een thema aan series. Tot eind 2010 was ik werkzaam als musicus/singer-songwriter waarna een beroepsziekte (focale dystonie aan mijn linkerhand en pols) mij het bespelen van een instrument onmogelijk maakte. In 2012 begon ik met fotograferen.
