My practice as a social documentary filmmaker is driven by reflecting on labour, because how we work is how we live. The need to explore that is rooted in how Poland's social order developed following the fall of communism and the rule of neoliberalism. For some people it's a religion, for most - it's a curse. I focus on topics such as exploitation or labor migration. I dig deep into the cultural and geographical space closest to me. I believe in grassroots work which often includes putting the camera down. I work as a cinematographer, photographer and other related functions both in the film and photographic world. Based between Rotterdam and Warsaw.

Co Mi Karma Da (eng. What Karma Gives Me) - Co Mi Karma Da (What Karma Brings Me) introduces you to Poles living in the Netherlands trying to find their ways. To tell that story the documentary film follows DJ Shadowface, an important figure for the local Polish hip-hop community, as he is the organizer of an event called “Show Yours Skills”. The Agencies: an interview with Kim van Ekris (FNV) - The short film provides a wider perspective on the landscape of North Limburg (NL) and organisation of migrant labour. The landscape is beautiful, yet filled with industrial greenhouses and distribution centers. They are run by migrant workers who are often subjected to exploitative working conditions and horrible living standards. Currently there is around 64.000 migrants working in the region. They are an invisible social group which, at the same time, performs absolutely essential professions. Kim van Ekris is part of the FNV union and she has a lot of experience working in the field on recruiting people and intervening on their behalf. She tells a coherent story. Untitled - A photo-series started during the wave of pro-abortion protest in Warsaw, but reaching beyond that. At some point, it became clear to me that the physical background of all the happenings is also relevant. There, the focus shifted on the walls, streets, buildings and the stories that they hold. The city of Warsaw. The work is in progress.
