I am Danny, an illustrator and visual artist since 2003 working under the name Danny Rumbl. Since 2009 I have been living and working in Rotterdam. I get my inspiration from my love for old illustrations and cartoons, nature and modern pop culture.
From these sources of inspiration I create dynamic figures that come to life in my illustrations, murals and sculptures.
Art is very important to me, it gives me the freedom to express myself, it is a language that everyone speaks. Making art is also very important to me, it is something that I just have to do, in the public spaces, on the street or just at home.
