when I wake from a dream I still can remember, it is like a game to relate elements from this dream to stimuli I have caught during my time awake.
the seeded strawberry in my dream relates to the freckles on the hands of the person I sat in front of at a party the evening before.
while creating i experience this association process the other way around. it is like a game to catch stimuli, to bring them together, and release them transformed. symbolically and in material.
in my work I combine this free and flowy process with a steady and controlled hand.
