I am an intuitive maker.
I want to make the viewer pause and let them look deeper into their own mind.
By means of folds I create alienating shapes that are close to the body and large around the body. I want to create an interplay between form and body, in this way material and movement respond to each other.
A mobility that can also be seen in a still image.
By creating I visualize my mind.
In this way, by looking at my work you gain insight into an inner world.
The inner world grows outward in organic shapes and voluminous silhouettes, creating an environment where the mind is central.
The path of human life fascinates me. The intention with my work is to capture me, but also the viewer.
