Floor Leemans' work is investigative and experimental. Her starting points are drawings made with pencils, conté and ballpoint pen. Floor pushes the boundaries in her work by making a crossover to the digital plane. The combination of analogue handwriting with digital means gives her endless possibilities. The computer lets its work flow as if it were infinite, it beats, moves and pulsates. According to Floor, drawing is the same as thinking. She knows how to make connections that often only come about during the process. Her video work is an expression of these connections. She combines drawings and digital visual resources into an innovative whole.
