Goretti is fundamentally a visual artist with sprinkles of conceptual art. Her work is induced and guided by the atmosphere of her beloved music. The results are mostly surreal forms and situations. Ultimately, Goretti's work offers amusing alternatives that function as a distraction from the mundane.

    • Nine art academies, a hundred and seventy-five young artists, one exhibition. For the first time in history, recently graduated art academy students from all fine arts bachelor's programs in the Netherlands are presenting their work together. The initiative, organized by a team of twenty-five recent graduates under the direction of curator Rieke Vos, will take shape in an extensive exhibition with a lively public programme.     • Extrapool visits the graduation exhibitions of the Dutch art academies every year. What keeps these young artists busy? How do they shape their work at the end of their academy days? Academies presented themselves later this year or only online. All the more reason to give this a physical form during Distillaat. The strength of Distillate is the working period that takes place prior to the exhibition.
