Guido Bosua (Ridderkerk, 1970) started as a physical theater maker and actor. At the end of the nineties his field of activity shifted to theater education and organization. He has been working as a photographer since 90. Guido Bosua is a connector. Everything has to do with each other, influence each other. His theater background is visible in his autonomous work. Images arise from an idea, in dialogue with the models, especially dancers or actors.

Guido Bosua works on autonomous projects and does commissioned work; dance and theater photography. He also develops social-artistic projects within the Bewegend Beeld foundation. Central to his work are relationships;

    HUMAN NATURE - floating / falling

    • No human life without trees. In images translated into an intimate setting, the atmosphere of an echo, of unborn, vulnerable life in the belly of mother nature. The trees nurture us, feed us. At the same time a warning against the negligence with which we deal with trees, forests and rainforests. You can see the figures as innocent, ignorant in the womb. But also as people falling, the fall of humanity caused by ourselves.

    HUMAN NATURE - city shamans

    • Traditionally, there has been a relationship between (performing) arts and religion. In the current era, artists, actors, dancers are the new shamans. The classic role of the shaman is the relationship with the supernatural, the unnameable, the immaterial. Today's artists are our bridge with the same intangible things.
