My images are monumental autonomous artifacts, narrative images, imitations and enlarged copies of the autonomous phenomena of nature. I am curious about the meaning of the things around you and how you can interpret them. There is no point in looking for meaning and meaning. The works are clumsy visual references to themselves in the original. The presence of the thing and time are important aspects in my work

    • Part of Kunstschouw, an art manifestation on the South Holland Islands, an area in the Bible Belt with a usually closed church in every village. We made an open construction in the shape of a church with neon eyes and a red telephone as a hotline with god

    • I'm coming is an installation in the Bridge Keeper's House. The installation refers to the promise of "the boats will come soon" and it is about waiting. A transparent shadow of a person is in the house, surrounded by neon bulbs. A serious children's party
