For no apparent reason ideas come… My hands are put to work and a reality of my own arises. I have to keep a close eye on them because when the ideas start to grow, they often grow faster than I can keep up with them. From one idea comes another association… then 2-dimensional, then 3-dimensional. At the moment my ceramic sculptures are hanging on the wall and drawings are intertwined.

Fortunately my handwriting remains recognizable and the use of materials, tactility, emotion and a dose of humor are the fixed elements in the work. My work is created while my hands translate what my eyes experience. I give them the space to create their own language, a recognizable visual language, a new reality. Hopefully my work also enriches your reality.

You can go in any direction with me. I can give a performance in your theater, make an interactive installation for your festival, do 'Who you are' at your reception or party or give a workshop creative thinking in your company.

    • Artist in Company: an inspirer who enters the workplace, from a company or (care) institution and who receives and gives inspiration in the daily work processes. As an artist, I can offer reflection and innovation within an organization, at different levels. You could call it an APK for the company: How are we doing? What are we good at? How do we get across? What's going on beneath the surface? What needs to be worked on? Where can we still grow? A win-win situation.

    • Do you look at what you see or do you form an image with what you think you see? Learn to see without glasses, learn to think with your hands. Get to know the basics of creative thinking and apply it to any question from any industry. In 10 years of teaching at the Design Academy Eindhoven I have developed a methodology in creative thinking. Maybe I can introduce you, or your employees, the skill of creative thinking and inspire you to come up with solutions in a creative way.
