I am an artist, illustrator, city guide and art teacher. As an artist I make art, as an illustrator I make illustrations, as a city guide I organize and supervise drawing tours and as an art teacher I develop and give drawing workshops.
As a city illustrator, I am fascinated by the people and buildings that shape our cities. My drawings are organic and full of color, life, details, feeling and humor. I usually draw on location and from observation, responding to my environment with mixed techniques. My style is inspired by my love for comics and urban sketching.
My goal as a city artist is to bring a little joy to people. I hope that my drawings can inspire people to (re)discover the beauty and vibrancy of their own environment.
With my drawing tours I also want to show people my city and connect them with each other. A relaxing and creative activity to do together outside.
