Both in terms of theme and execution, the experiment has an important place in my work. Compositions result, among other things, from experimenting and distorting analog video. The concept of time is a recurring theme in this. Time, movement and energy together form a close-knit fabric. They are the components that make up our reality. Reality as we perceive it is always just a part, an interval, a perspective, a collection of events. The general hierarchical value of our perception is abolished by me and built up in a new way.

    • Prospect arises from a confluence of personal events and the application of a new way of large-format abstraction. Manufactured during Wynwood mural fest which takes place concurrently with the Art Basel Miami art fair. Dimensions ± 5 x 10 meters

    Whitewater

    • Location: Korte Stadionweg 109, Rotterdam
    • This mural is located right next to the Maas. 'White water' is therefore a reference to the anatomy for a wave of seawater that surfers use to name the different parts of a wave. White water is the part where the wave causes a lot of splashing water when it comes down. After ending a 12-year collaboration as the beer and bread duo, this project is a new starting point, the impetuosity of a new beginning.

    • A new meeting and collaboration of Puck Schot and I brought together by Klankvorm. With Audio Visual Explorations in Cinerama, Klankvorm explores the world of techno signatures. Unlike a biosignature, which proves a property of life, a technosignature can be seen as the measurable property of a system that provides evidence that the system is based on a technological development.
