My practice is multiform, just like my appearance, I make wearable objects for my alter egos to reinvent myself and explore how to show art in the most natural way possible. Using bleach, among other things, I create stories, autobiographical fantasies, on textiles and garments that I distribute to my friends, but which also form the basis for exhibition concepts and assignments in the public domain.
I am a co-founder of the SOHERE research group that focuses on designing learning environments and shaping the encounter.
One of those learning environments that I put a lot of energy into is Kunstlab + Buren, a free walk-in (children's) studio in South Rotterdam, a multi-hierarchical space where conversation is the basis for collective making.
