Jiske Kosian

artistic research - collage - painting - textile

As an artist I deal with wringing topics in modern society. I like to explore the boundaries, to the level of lurid, but always with a poetic approach.

My interest lies mainly in connecting different studies, such as art history, philosophy and modern pop culture. In my work I try to start a dialogue between all these fields, sometimes supplemented with an explanatory essay.

This search for connection can be expressed in clothing, paintings, collages, drawings, poems and installations.
