objects

All my artworks are products of my mind and feeling. The desire to make spatial 3-D objects and installations with organic forms stems from an inner force, a life force, an optimism. I make objects from all kinds of natural materials in combination with recycled ones. In 2013, I came into contact with stainless steel for the first time, with which I designed “De Hoekse Vogel” for Hoek van Holland, which has since been placed in 10 prominent locations. From that time on it has fascinated me enormously to design elegant objects with this material, which challenge gravity and play with light, air and space. I continue to inspire myself and broaden my horizons by going beyond my daily experiences and being open to new challenges. The art wall is another example of this.
I like it when my art connects people. Tells a story, promotes social cohesion.
My objects translate my personality and the values to which I attach.
