Laurence Henriquez

film - writing - documentary - science & technology

Laurence Henriquez is a writer and filmmaker whose lens-based practice explores the confusion, alienation and unknowability of existence with a sense of humor and a feel for the macabre. He believes that the progress of culture depends on the vitality of the images we produce. Each generation needs images that are appropriate for their time. If we fail to aspire to such heights our species is as dead as the dinosaurs.
