Lieke Muis van der Meer

installation - public space - social - urban - artistic research

Lieke van der Meer does social-spatial projects and makes art installations. She analyzes and speculates about social phenomena in the city, sustainability and mobility. She disrupts or celebrates the patterns found with her installations that often involve and activate the viewer. Her work is often in public space.

After studying Liberal Arts and Sciences at Utrecht University, she studied Spatial Design at the Willem de Kooning Academy, where she graduated in 2021. She currently has her studio in Rotterdam.
