My (video) camera / mobile is my main travel companion to record events on my way. My work is created without a pre-defined scenario or preconceived plan.
The images arise from impressions of the inhabited world that often seem unreal in themselves, but carry a strong poetic potential.
Once back home, the recorded material is processed into a personal travel document. All kinds of image manipulations are unleashed, making them private image statements.
