artistic research - DIY

Getting to know my own environment is a big aspect of my work. I like to observe what is happening close to me and from this I draw all my inspiration. Just like an animal that knows its own territory like no other, I want to know the place where I am.
I see my environment as a large palette full of colors and tools that you must first learn to see, recognize and internalize before you can use them to build / create. This is the ideal that I strive for. I investigate this in small pieces in my immediate environment, the people,
animals, movement and the space in which the movement takes place.
Usually my research or experiences result in book / magazine form that I publish myself under Woodstone Kugelbitz editions.
