Maritsa van Luttikhuizen is active in various cultural organizations and works in different disciplines. Both behind the scenes and in the spotlight. She is the initiator of 'about A woman', a research series in which female artists engage in a dialogue about their position in the art world. Since a year she mainly works on drawings. 'The interior' and 'the sleeping person' are recurring subjects that we know from other media with which she has worked. Images that show the stage at the beginning of a dream world, but that stick to reality in figurative representations. The sometimes alienating images seem to show an inner statement that invites the viewer to reflect.
