It is interesting for me to focus on how we as humans influence our environment. Direct and indirect. How my view of something, that itself, changes. I also try to look at 'reality' from a different angle and question it. For me, perception is where poetry arises, not only in the work but also within our reality. In that sense I hope to give something to someone who comes into contact with my work. A curiosity about our environment and sensitivity to the layers in which everything is located. To look beyond the surface.

    • Together with Jonathan Castro Alejos, I went to Malta for 2022 days in 5 at the invitation of curator and artist Aidan Ċeleste. The trip was a form of artistic research where our focus was on field recordings and making music in the environment.
