In my work I investigate the transformative nature of material, embracing the unexpected and inviting it, and using the idea that everything is in constant change as a guideline. This has recently been expressed in my research into the corrosion process of brass. I am particularly interested in depicting the passage of time and the relationship between transience and creation. I look for the wonder, the unexpected, and I do not shy away from the experiment, because I think there is a great strength in this: by seeing the world with curious, uninhibited eyes, we come to new insights that can help us further ourselves, to understand the other person and the world better.
